Cookie Policy

This page is deliberately short, because the honest answer is simple: this website sets no cookies. No session, no preference store, no analytics and no advertising — so there is no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to.

01 What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store so it can recognise you later — to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure traffic or personalise advertising. Storage in the browser also includes related mechanisms such as local storage and pixels; this policy covers all of them.

02 What this site sets today

Nothing. The site has no accounts, no login, no preferences to remember and no third-party scripts of any kind. It does not set cookies, does not write to local storage and does not run Google Analytics, tag managers or advertising tags. Server-side, the only data involved is the standard request data described in the privacy policy, which is kept for security and reliability, never for profiling.

Because no cookies are placed, no consent banner is shown: a banner asking you to accept something that does not exist would be theatre, not compliance.

03 If advertising is ever activated

The site is prepared to run Google AdSense in the future. If that day comes, ad code and the advertising cookies that go with it (for example Google's own ad-serving and measurement cookies) will only be activated together with a consent mechanism where the law requires one — and this page and the privacy policy will be updated before any advertising script ships. Advertising will never be added silently.

Until then you can review and control personalised advertising Google already stores on you independently of this site at Google Ads Settings, and opt out of participating industry programmes at optout.networkadvertising.org.

04 How to control cookies

You remain in control at the browser level regardless of what any site does: every current browser lets you inspect, block and delete cookies from its privacy or site-data settings (Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies; Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security; Edge: Settings → Cookies and site data; Safari: Preferences → Privacy). Blocking all cookies will not break this site — it does not need them to work.

Questions about this policy can be sent through the contact page.
