Alaska Registration and Endorsement Fees
The 12 verified whole-dollar state fees Alaska publishes — the 12 AAC 02.180 schedule plus the application forms' $350 totals. Alaska charges no competency examination fee for base registration (there is no exam), prices the residential endorsement at $100 + $250, and every amount no official page read publishes is withheld by name.
01 State fees vs the bond vs local fees

- Application and certificate — $100 nonrefundable application (the same fee opens a registration or the residential endorsement) + $250 initial biennial certificate = $350 on both official forms. S-AK-FEES-12AAC02
- Renewal every two years — $250 biennial; the cycle is December 31 of even-numbered years with a ≥ 30-day notice that does not excuse a late renewal. S-AK-CON4815
- Bond by category (not a fee, but the bigger cheque) — $25,000 general / $20,000 exclusively-residential endorsed / $10,000 mechanical or specialty / $5,000 handyman, with a cash deposit allowed in lieu. S-AK-AS-0818

05 Withheld by name
- Alaska business-licence fee — the requirement is confirmed by the FAQ; the amount is NOT_VERIFIED (the official page returned the site's bot challenge on 2026-10-08).
- Residential endorsement examination fee as a separate line — the codified amounts are the $100 application + $250 endorsement; any PSI/testing fee is NOT_VERIFIED.
- Late-renewal penalty — AS 08.01.100(b) authorises penalty fees; the amount is not in 12 AAC 02.180 and stays NOT_VERIFIED.
- AS 08.40 administrator licence fees — outside the documents read this phase; withheld.
